Welcome to Entree2Education! We are friends and colleagues who have been supporting primary students in Kenya since 2012. Our donations provide lunch to students at the Ngarenaro Special School in Nyahururu Kenya. We are 100% volunteer with all overheard paid through personal donations by the founders.

Our Mission is to support education by providing food in schools where many go without food. We believe that providing basic needs to support education is an effective way to promote individual and societal achievement, and reduce poverty and suffering. The Ngarenaro Special School is a school for special needs students, and boarding students may be orphaned or have little family support. Technically a public school in Kenya, it receives relatively little support from the government but does receive community support.
The support from Entree2Education will allow the school to provide more nutritive porridge on a daily basis (from the addition of omena and amaranth seeds), and allow the addition of fruit three times per week, sweet potatoes three times per week, meat three times per week, and the enrichment of weekend breakfast with boiled pumpkins/bananas/arrow roots.
Funding goes toward the purchase of additional food for students to promote a healthy and nutritious diet. Your support has allowed the purchase of omena, sweet potatoes, amaranth seeds, mangoes, watermelon, minced meat, pumpkins, bananas, and arrow roots. All students at Ngarenaro Special School receive 10 am lunch and 4 pm porridge, and the boarding students also receive breakfast and supper from the school.
We anticipate that this support will reduce the occurrence of pica among the students and promote healthier bodies and minds. Thank you so much for your support!
